JACKSONVILLE  -  Elsie Melvina Fisher, 87, of Jacksonville, North Carolina passed away on June 5, 2025 at Woodbury Wellness in Hampstead. Graveside services with Rev. Preston Wells and Elder Stacy Pierce will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Wells Family Cemetery.

Ms. Fisher was born on January 18, 1938 in Pender County, NC to the late Luther Jackson Wells and Elsie Lennon Wells. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Morris Fisher.

She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Fisher of Jacksonville, NC and Kenneth Fisher of Soddy Daisy, TN; brother, Rev. Preston Wells and Elder Stacy Pierce, of Holly Ridge and several extended family and friends.
