Jacksonville - Michael Andre Ellis, 50, of Jacksonville, North Carolina passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026, at UNC Chapel Hill Medical Center. Memorial services will be held by the family at a later date.

Michael was born on March 28, 1975, in Philadelphia, PA. Preceded in death by his mother; Renee Medley Ellis and he was employed with Walmart as an inventory stocker.

Survivors include his father; Kenneth Ellis of Jacksonville, sister; Sherri Ellis of Jacksonville brother; Maurice Ellis of Indiana and niece, Sierra Dotson of Jacksonville.
