SNEADS FERRY  -  Michael James Fisher, 74, of Sneads Ferry, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel. Burial will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

Mr. Fisher was born on December 20, 1949, in Ottumwa, Iowa to the late Keith Charles Fisher and Virginia Mildred Castle Fisher. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Veronica Fisher; Brothers, Charles Lee Fisher (1939-2006) and Keith William Fisher (1940 – 2013); and Sister, Elizabeth Ann Briles (1942 – 2007).

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Fisher of Lawrenceville, GA; son, Frank Fisher (Elizabeth) of Sneads Ferry, NC; grandson, Zachary Fisher; siblings, Robert Joseph Fisher (Melinda), Patrick Wayne Fisher (Phyllis), Judith Lynn Shannon (Michael), James Allen Fisher (Tammy), Lavonne Marie Radloff (Keith), and Francine Fay Wilson.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
