Richlands – Michael “Mike” Franklin Jarosewicz Sr., 76, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville NC on Saturday, October 24th, at 2:00 PM. There will be a visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather afterward for food and fellowship at a location to be announced soon. 

Mike was born in New York, NY, and raised in Richlands, NC. An electrician by trade and an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast, he was known for his mechanical aptitude and a special talent for designing and building motorcycles from start to finish. 

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Ruby Jarosewicz, and his brother, Kenny Jarosewicz. 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Taylor Jarosewicz; children, Mandie Swinson (Chris) of Sanford, Mike Jarosewicz Jr. (Sommer) of Destin, FL, Regena Daughtry (Jeff) of Richlands, and Cindy Hawley of Maple Hill; grandchildren, Cortney, Teran, Dylan, Kyle, Trent, Dallas, Brooke, Brittany, Eddie, Dillon, Alyssa, and Brian; great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Azlynn, Kolton, Elle, and Emory; and brothers, Ray Jarosewicz of Richlands and Steven Jarosewicz (Crystal) of Coats.
