JACKSONVILLE  -  Nguyen Thi Herbert, 76, passed peacefully on Saturday, January 25, 2025 in her home with her devoted husband by her side. Affectionately known as Lon, she was a well-loved icon at the Officers' Club at Camp Lejeune for over four decades.  Known for her "no nonsense" attitude and endless energy, she never met a stranger.  She enjoyed people and hosting parties. If you were invited to her home, a full belly and a good time were guaranteed. She will be remembered for her boundless love for her family and her generosity to all.

Preceded in death by parents, Nguyen But and Bui Thi Nhi.

Survived by husband, Howard Ray Herbert, Jr.; daughters, Barbra Flick Linhardt (Guy Linhardt), Kathy Ann Flick (Anthony Barreiro), Kimberly Catherine Eason (Timothy Eason); grandchildren, Braxton Eason, Darian Eason, and Anna Linhardt; and many more extended family, including siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation and Viewing will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 1, 2025, Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm, at Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville, NC.

đã ra đi vào thứ bảy ngày 25-1-25 tại nhà riêng, bên cạnh người chồng tận ạ tuy một cách chú đáo, tại chỗ làm câu lạc bộ đã làm việc với cái tên:LON, được mọi người yêu mến hơn 4 thập kỷ.

Bà rất vui vẻ với mọi người và luôn luôn nhớ về gia đình, cha Nguyễn Bút và mẹ Bùi thị Nhi.
