In Loving Memory of Nicholas Matteo. 

Venth Nicholas Matteo Venth, 20, of Jacksonville, North Carolina, passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 20. 

Nicholas was a beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend whose life brought laughter, love, and unforgettable memories to those around him. Known for his hilarious personality and constant jokes, Nicholas had a special way of making people laugh and bringing humor into even the simplest moments. His ability to make others smile and his unforgettable sense of humor will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him. Nicholas had a passion for making rap music, expressing himself through his creativity and love of music. He also enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his friends, making memories and sharing moments that will be treasured for years to come. Whether he was making people laugh, creating music, or simply enjoying time with the people he loved, Nicholas had a way of making ordinary moments special. 

Nicholas is survived by his father, Peter Venth; his mother, Carlyn Royster, and stepfather, Kevin Royster; and his beloved siblings, Skylar Rock and her husband, Dylan Rock, Sophia Venth, and Gabriella Royster. He also leaves behind his cherished nephew, Beckett Rock, who will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Bernadette, and her husband, Chris Bryan; his maternal grandparents, Steven Myslinski and Donna Yoho Myslinski, and Carl and Sandra Bucher; his uncle, Tim Venth, and Britany; his aunt, Victoria; and the Higgins family. Nicholas is further survived by his aunt, Jennifer Bucher, and his cousins, Grace Kriebel, Jackson Kriebel, Cash Vernon, and Cameron Vernon; his uncle, Douglas Bucher, and cousins, Hayden and Ryland Bucher; and his aunt, Marcia Bucher, Seth Brown, and cousins, Jace and Kolson Brown. 

He was preceded in death by loved ones who will forever remain a part of his family's story and whose memories continue to live on through those who loved them. Though Nicholas's time here was far too short, the laughter he shared, the music he created, and the memories he leaves behind will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be remembered for his humor, his creativity, and the joy he brought to the people around him. Nicholas will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
