Norman Curtis Hope, 82, died January 18, 2025, and though our hearts ache, we take comfort in knowing that Norman is now free of pain.

Norm, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on Earth was one marked by love, compassion, patriotism and unwavering faith in God. He displayed this through his 30+ years of faithful service to our country as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (27), Florida Highway Patrol State Trooper (3) and his unwavering commitment and faith to church ministry. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.

Norman is survived and missed by his loving wife 61 years, Charlotte and his beloved daughter Heather. He is forever cherished and remembered by his 3 grandchildren: 2nd Lt. Butch Chaney, USMC (Morgan), AT1 Tonya Chaney, USN (Aurora), and Hope Chaney (Blake) and 5 great-grandchildren.
