Richlands – Pamela Boyd Knox, 75, was born in 1950 in Charlotte, NC and died on August 29, 2025, at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, NC.  A visitation is scheduled at 1:00PM Tuesday with a Life Celebration service to follow immediately at 2:00PM. Both will be at Trinity Methodist Church in Jacksonville with Rev. Steve Smith officiating.  Burial will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday at East Lawn Cemetery in Kingsport, TN.  The address of the cemetery is 4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN.

"Pam" will be long remembered by family as a person who loved listening and watching the birds sing and play.  She also loved to cook and was a great mother and loving wife. Her husband of fifty-three years said …. "Her love made life worth living."

Pam was preceded in death by one daughter, Melanie Ann Knox: her parents, C. Leo Boyd and Allene Boyd.

Pam was survived by Charles "Charlie" Knox, her husband, and by two sisters – Sharon Lee of the Charlotte NC area and Sandi Hutchens of the Leesburg VA area. In addition, survivors include one grandson, Fox Knox of Winston Salem NC along with two nephews.
