Pansy (Lawrence) Pizzo, 90, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025, in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Born in Rochester, New York, on August 28, 1934, Pansy was the daughter of the late Hellen and Nero Lawrence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Pizzo; her daughter, Dawn (Thomas) Ellwanger; and her brothers, Vincent and Billy.

Pansy is survived by her son, Joseph Pizzo Jr.; her sisters, Mary, Vivian, and Beverly; her eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren who will continue to cherish her memory.

She dedicated more than 30 years of her career to Harris RF Communications, where she was admired for her hard work, as well as her outgoing and hilarious personality. Pansy enjoyed traveling, bowling, golfing, and spending time in nature. She loved animals, especially birds, and found great joy in feeding and watching them. She had a special love for owls, which reflected her wisdom, strength, and quiet grace. Above all, her greatest love was her family, who will forever remember her warmth, laughter, and gentle spirit.
