Patricia Ann “Patty” Ott Jernigan, 73, of Jacksonville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Worden Ott and Helen Keith, and her brother-in-law, Johnny Williams.

Patty leaves behind her loving family, including her children, Kimberly Figueroa (Israel) and Brandon Humphrey, both of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Marquelle Corbins and Israel A. Figueroa; and her precious great-granddaughter, Nala Corbins.

She is also survived by her brother, Michael Ott of Topsail Beach, North Carolina; her sisters, Jacque Pratcher (Jim) and Kelly Williams, both of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, and Lisa Erichsen of Virginia.

Patty will be remembered by her family and loved ones, who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

The family will hold a private celebration of life in her honor next spring.
