Swansboro- Patricia Renee Driver, 47, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020 at her residence.  She was born August 7, 1972 in Cherry Point, NC the daughter of William Wendt and Deborah Schoonover Parker.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 6:00 PM at the Swansboro Rotary Club with Rev. H. C. Hardesty officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Patricia owned and operated a Pilates business up until her retirement and she loved to be around people.  Not only was she a wife, daughter, sister, and mother to three; but she was also a caregiver and mother to many friends and family.  She was a warrior who was not afraid to stand up for what she believed in, and always made sure those around her knew it.  All of her emotions and feelings were heightened: she loved deeply, cared intensely, and fought fiercely.  She would lighten the mood in any given room she walked into and was always the life of the party.  She was wise far beyond her years, giving sound and solid advice to all those she spent her time with.  She was loved by many and will be remembered by all.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Driver of the home; daughter, Marie Lanie Driver of Portsmouth, VA; sons, Zachary Wayne Driver of Swansboro and Camden Laney Driver of Wilmington; mother and step-father, Deborah and J. Vann Parker of Emerald Isle; sister, Angela Marie Ulin of Swansboro; aunt Karen Thakker of Swansboro; step-father, Henry Archie Laney of Swansboro; and father, William Wendt of Colonial Beach, VA.
