Jacksonville - Paul Othell Taylor, Jr., 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2026 at Carolina East. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville with Reverend Randy Mobley officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Onslow Memorial Park.

Paul was born on August 1, 1955, in Jacksonville, North Carolina to Paul Taylor, Sr. and Elma Gurganus Taylor. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Othell Taylor, Sr.

Paul worked and retired with Southerland Electric.

Survivors include his mother; Elma Gurganus Taylor of Jacksonville; his daughter, Clarissa Elidrissi (Hicham) and her mother; Karen Tyndall Taylor all of Jacksonville; and his granddog, Noodle.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
