Jacksonville – Phillip Wayne Miller, 49, passed away on January 6, 2025 at his home. He was born in Stanton, California.  Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville with Rev. David Love officiating.

Phillip is preceded in death by his sister, Katrinna Hensley.

He is survived by his parents, Ricky and Helen Miller of Jacksonville, NC; daughters, Jaslyn Hill of Goldsboro, NC and Avery and Ella Miller, both of Castle Hayne, NC; brother, Vincent Starner (Kay) of Arlington, TX and several extended family members in California and Texas and lots of great friends.

He was a lover of the great outdoors.  He loved hunting, fishing and riding his 4-wheeler.  He recently traveled across country camping and riding his 4-wheeler.
