Rachel Elizabeth Delisle, 30, of Warner Robins, GA, died Saturday, February 15, 2014 in a tragic motor vehicle accident.
She was born in Warner Robins, GA to Jeffrey Simon and Elizabeth Logue Tuinstra. Rachel graduated from Appling County Comprehensive High School in Baxley, GA and she then graduated as an Honor Graduate from Waycross College in Waycross, GA. She was married to 1st Lt. Jason Robert Delisle, USMC. She is survived by her devoted sons, Michael Simon, Jason Robert Delisle, Jr. and Gabriel Cato, her beloved sister, Katie Tuinstra of Statesboro, GA, her maternal grandparents Edward and Mary Frances Logue of Byron, GA, and her paternal grandparents George and Ingrid Tuinstra of Grand Rapids, MI. She is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends and her best friend Tara Linebarger. She was a member of Centerville United Methodist Church in Warner Robins, GA and in Jacksonville, NC she and her family attended Trinity United Methodist Church.
Funeral arrangements will be held Wednesday, February 19th at 2:00pm at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville, NC. The visitation will be held prior to the service at 1pm at Jones.
A Memorial Fund has been set up for her three children at Marine Federal Credit Union in Jacksonville, NC
Services will be held on Wednesday,Feb. 19th, 2:00pm at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 2:00pm.
Services in Warner Robins, GA will be held on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at McCullough Funeral Home with burial at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
