JACKSONVILLE - Rachel Lee Jenkins, 91, of Jacksonville, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Carebridge Assisted Living. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel with Rev. Fred Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Onslow Memorial Park.
Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Joseph "Joe" Jenkins; and two sons, J.W. Jenkins and Kenneth B. Jenkins.
She is survived by two sons, Billy Jenkins of Sanford and Bobby Jenkins of Richlands; one daughter, Carolyn Court of Wilmington; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday morning prior to the service, from 10 - 11 at the funeral home.
