JACKSONVILLE -  Ralph Wade Cowan, 71, of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at his home. There will be no services at this time.

Mr. Cowan was born on February 7, 1954, in Jacksonville, North Carolina to the late Franklin B. Cowan and Joyce Thompson Cowan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Cowan.

Ralph was hard-working and owned and operated his own tow trucking company, CC Towing. He never met a stranger. He loved cracking jokes and always making people laugh. He adored his family and loved every minute he got to spend with them, especially his granddaughters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Cynthia "Cindy" Cowan; sons, Ralph Bryan Wade Cowan (Erica) of Clinton, NC and Ralph Aaron Joseph Cowan of Wilmington, NC; stepdaughter, Angela Christine Oliver of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Lainey Elise Cowan and Lyndi Rose Cowan; and several extended family and friends.
