Swansboro- Richard Mason Cushman, 83, passed away Sunday September 9, 2018 at the Cottages of Swansboro.  He was born April 24, 1935 in Bangor, ME son of the late, George Edward and Mary Chisolm Cushman.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Cushman served his country in the USMC and retired as a Capt.  He then went on to continue his service as a civil service employee aboard Camp Lejeune.
