RICHLANDS  -  Richard Matthew Lesinski, 51, of Richlands, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024.  The family will receive friends Sunday, November 3, 3024 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel.

Mr. Lesinski was preceded in death by his father, Richard George Lesinski and son Thaddeus Lesinski and grandparents Anna Lesinski, Frank Lesinski, Thaddeusz Mikos, Helena Mikos.

He is survived by his son, Dariusz Lesinskiof Richlands, NC; mother, Danuta M. Lesinski of Chinquapin, NC; sister, Anita Lesinski of Beulaville, NC; brother Edward Lesinski of Beulaville, NC; and nieces and nephews Elias Lesinski of Loudon, TN, Sara Abu-Haieh, Gevara Abu-Haieh of Chattanooga, TN

He is a self-taught bass player, he was in the band Valhalla in his younger years with Rob Siler, Josh Hicklen, Dave Turner, and Sean Jones. Matt played his bass Tuesday Night at the Salty Hawk in Sneads Ferry, Nc. He loved gathering with family and friends for dinners or just to hang out. Matthew always loved cooking and entertaining for everyone and could talk for hours. He also enjoying fishing on the weekends with his son Dariusz Lesinski, sister Anita Lesinski and her boyfriend James Saling.

Matthew will always and forever be remembered for his sarcastic humor, love of Music and his wonderful cooking skills, but mostly for his love which is eternal. Carpe Diem!
