JACKSONVILLE - Richard Arthur Perry, 76, of Jacksonville died Saturday, May 12, 2012. Graveside services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery.
Richard Perry was born in Dover, New Hampshire on May 27, 1935. He was raised in Maine, graduating from Leavitt Institute in Turner, Maine in 1953. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, retiring in 1977. He started a second career with Morale, Welfare and Recreation Services in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
Survivors include his wife, Atsuko Perry; daughter, Elaine Magdinec; son-in-law, Marc Magdinec; and granddaughters, Caroline and Sara Magdinec of Huntingtown, Maryland.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 - 8 PM at Jones Funeral Home.
