Ricky Odell Morton, 66, of Jacksonville, passed away on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, at Onslow Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, at the Hair Family Cemetery in Jacksonville with Pastor Mitch Smith officiating.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Ransom and Gertrude Morton; and his siblings, Gerald Morton, Reginald Morton, Diane Simmons, and Betty Hair.

He is survived by his daughter, Rikki Morton and husband Jon of Hubert; grandchildren, Payton and Madison; siblings, Evelyn Davis, Jackie Morton, and Dalton Morton all of Jacksonville; and his niece who was more like a sister, Kitty Hartley.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside service at the cemetery.
