SWANSBORO  -  Robert Stephen Capuano, 73, passed away Friday, January 24, 2025 at Carteret Healthcare.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 21, 2025 at St. Mildred Catholic Church with Rev. Dave Miller officiating.

He was born June 6,1951 in Providence, RI, a son of the late Louis and Etta Del Selva Capuano.

He graduated from Boston University with a BA degree.  He then served as President of his family's printing business, Acton Press, for 25 years until he decided his true calling was teaching teens with special needs.  Throughout his life he had many interests, but he most enjoyed coaching youth soccer in Smithfield, RI.  He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia Moore Capuano; daughter, Carissa Rodrigue and husband Matthew of NJ; son, Brent Capuano and wife Lara of CA; his 5 grandchildren, Scarlett, Kono, Ella, Michael and Andrew; and a brother, Louis Capuano and wife Deborah of FL.
