Dr. Robert Christopher Christakos passed away suddenly on November 24th, 2025, at his home in Sneads Ferry, NC, at the age of 49.

A funeral service will be held for Robert at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Holly Ridge. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM prior to the service.

Robert was born on December 16, 1975, in Manhattan, Kansas, to Vincent J. Christakos and the late Susanna Huyler.

Robert was a Doctor of Physical Therapy for over 20 years and was Clinical Director/Physical Therapist with Select Medical at the time of his passing. Robert had a special gift for healing people, and he dedicated his life to that calling. He loved relaxing on Topsail Beach and his long rides on his Harley Davidson was where he was most at peace. He was a loving husband, father, and most recently a grandfather, and a truly amazing friend to others whose death will leave a void forever.

He is survived by his wife, Kristin; his children, Samantha Brooke-Lynn, Steven Christopher, and Tina-Marie; his grandson, Bryce Daniel; siblings, Thomas and Patricia; his niece and nephew; his amazing Aunt Rita and Uncle Rick; and an amazing community of close family and friends.
