Robert Earl Griffin, Jr.

Stella-Robert Earl Griffin, Jr., 60, passed away, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Carteret Healthcare in Morehead City, NC after a brief illness. He was born July 29, 1965, in Onslow County, NC the son of Robert Earl Griffin, Sr. and Elizabeth Watson Griffin.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Robert was a painter and always loved to make something as beautiful as it could be.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Griffin of the home; aunts, Frances Watson of Swansboro, Pam Cole of Maysville, Mary Ann Brown of Maysville, and Karen Morris of Hubert; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Earl Griffin, Sr.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
