Robert Allan Long, 86 passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2026 at Onslow Memorial Hospital. Mr. Robert was born in Rochester, NY to Cyril Long and Marcella Keller Long who precedes him in death. Served his country in the United States Navy for 22 years and retired as HMC and continued in the Civil Service until retirement.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 from the chapel of Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Burial with military honors will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12 noon until 1 pm.

Survivors include his spouse of 64 years; Caroll Long of the home, his daughters; Tracey Rhodes (Timothy) of Emerald Isle, NC, Marie LeBlanc (Arthur) of Pooler, GA and son; David Long of Waco, TX. Grandchildren; Daniel LeBlanc of Pooler, GA, Amber Bolton (Ethan) of Gastonia, NC and Heather Carnes (Chris) of Rock Hill, SC, Great Grandchildren; Grayson, Talon, and Beckett.

In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to St. Judes Research Hospital.
