JACKSONVILLE  -  Rodney "Punk" Hardeman Creech Jr., 70, of Jacksonville, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 at his home.

The family will celebrate Rodney' Life with a visitation from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, December 27th at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville.

Rodney was an outstanding family and community man. He retired after 20 years from the North Carolina Prison System. He managed all of this after honorably serving 20 years and retiring from the United States Marine Corp.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie Pearl and Rodney Creech Sr.; brother-in-law, Daniel Shirley; and Sister-in-law, Laura Creech. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Yong Hui Creech; brother, William Creech; sisters, Lillian Shirley and Rhonda Harvey (Bill); and many nieces and nephews.
