Romano Ramirez passed away peacefully, on January 31, 2024, in Fort Worth Texas. He was born on July 9, 1969, in Rockport, TX.

Born in 1969 and growing up in Pasadena, Texas, Romano graduated from Pasadena High School, and joined the Marine Corps in 1987. While stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC, he met his wife to-be, Patricia McClure. The two married in 1990 and began a life together in the US Marine Corps. They welcomed their first child, April Ramirez, in 1993 in Charlotte, NC. They were blessed with their second and third children in Jacksonville, NC: Isabella Ramirez, born in 2007 and Romano Ramirez Jr., born in 2009. The family settled in Fort Worth, TX in 2012. Romano was a lifelong sports fan. He loved going to baseball games with his children and cheering for the Houston Astros.

Left to carry on his legacy is his loving wife of 33+ years, Patricia Ramirez; children, April McCracken, Isabella Ramirez, and Romano Ramirez Jr; beautiful grandson Travis McCracken; loving parents Rodolfo and Celia Ramirez; siblings Rudy, Yvonne, Lavonne, and Ramon.

Please join us in celebrating the life of Romano on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 11:00am at Brookwood Baptist Church, 903 Henderson Drive, Jacksonville, NC 28540. His military burial will immediately follow the celebration of life at Costal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery at 12:00pm at 110 Montford Point Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
