Swansboro- Ronald William Hughes, Jr., 56, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Onslow Memorial Hospital.  He was born October 31, 1966 in Chesterfield. MD.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Ron owned and operated his own construction company in the Charlotte area.  He loved boating, fishing, Harley Davidson motorcycles and rebuilding cars, but his greatest joy was playing with his dog, Jade.

He is survived by the love of his life, Karen Furr of the home; father, Ronald William Hughes, Sr. of Hubert; mother, Peggy Jane Hepburn of Wilmington, DE; and half-brothers, Eric Hughes of Kinston and Adam Hughes of CA.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
