The legacy of Ronald Wright lives on in every life he touched. Born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, Ron dedicated his life to service, family, and hard work. Sharing the same passing date as his hero—his father, Vance Wright—Ron left this world with the same quiet strength and dignity that defined his life.

Ron proudly served in law enforcement and the Secret Service, devoting countless hours to protecting others and helping anyone in need. The words "A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one" describe him more accurately than anyone his family has ever known.

Ron is survived by his loving wife Alyson; daughters Vicki Busby (Johnny) of El Dorado, AR and Kami Wright of Sumter, SC; his son Ron Wright (Heather) of Summerville, SC; and step-daughters Katie Dick of Boone, NC, Amanda Webb of Swansboro, NC and Alicia Webb of Hubert, NC.

He leaves behind cherished grandchildren—Joshua, Jacob, Jaylynn, Delainy, Hayden, Thomas, and Mazie—and great-grandchildren Kynnlee, Jace-Lee, Hunter, and Anleigh, all of whom brought him tremendous pride and joy.

The family will have visitation at Jones Funeral Home in Swansboro on Wednesday night, November 19, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
