It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Rosalina Marbil Inocando. Rosalina, 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Rosalina made the courageous move to the United States in the 1980s. Her entire life was a testament to sacrifice, resilience, and unconditional love as she dedicated herself to building a brighter future for her family. Her family was her ultimate pride and joy, and her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured.

Rosalina was preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio and Celestina Marbil; her cherished daughter, Imelda Inocando; and five of her siblings.

She leaves behind her devoted husband of nearly 70 years, Antonio Inocando, whose steadfast bond was a true inspiration to all who knew them. She is also survived by her loving children: Merlin Granil, Norma Brown, Judy Inocando, Bobby Inocando, Eddie Inocando, and Larry Inocando; along with 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense light to her life.

Services & Condolences

Visitation: The family will receive friends and family from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday,

October 27, 2026, at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville.

Burial: Will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Onslow Memorial Park, Jacksonville.

Memorial Contributions: In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for contributions to help offset funeral expenses during this difficult time.
