JACKSONVILLE  -  Rosemary Louise Campano, 80, of Jacksonville, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her family.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel. Burial will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

Mrs. Campano was born January 7, 1944, in Waukegan, Illinois, to Wendell and Gwyneth Hagen. She was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. On November 21, 1964, she married the love of her life, Angelo Campano, and they shared 55 wonderful years together until his passing on September 5, 2019.

Survivors include her sister, Darlene Moody, and her husband, Roswell Moody; her son, James Campano, and his wife, Mirella Campano; her daughter, Kelly Campano; her beloved grandchildren, Alissa Campano, Anthony Campano, Brittany Campano and her husband, Wes Hamilton; and her great-grandsons, Cayden Mackey and Beau Campano.

Known as the "Shopping Queen," Mrs. Campano had a passion for spoiling herself and those she loved. She enjoyed being pampered by her late husband. More than that, she was the glue that held her family together, always offering her warm smile, kind words, and life lessons. Her unwavering love and support made her a pillar of strength, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends Monday morning, prior to the service, from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
