JACKSONVILLE  -  Sally LaRue Hubbard, 85, of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at her home.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel with Pastor Jamie Silance officiating. Burial will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

Mrs. Hubbard worked at the front office of Lauradale Apartments in the late 70's. She then spent the next 20 years working at Camp Lejeune with the MCCS Snack Bar and Club System. She retired as the snack bar manager at the Paradise Point Golf Course in 2003.

She was a member of Faith Chapel Baptist Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She truly enjoyed travelling, taking cruises, and game nights with friends.  Ms. Hubbard was a loving mother and grandmother and will be truly missed.

Mrs. Hubbard was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gerald Hubbard and parents, Madelyn and James Crowell.

Survivors include her children, Michael Hubbard, Donna Edwards (Jeff), Brian Hubbard (Lori), Christy Phillips (Chris); brothers, Jimmy Crowell (Belinda) and Allen Crowell (Cindy); six grandchildren, Heather, Megan, Morgan, Olivia, Corey, and Chloe; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family wants to extend a special thank you to Liberty Hospice and Tomekia Robbins of Davis Community for their support.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening October 24, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
