Samy Blankenship age 74 died on April 24, 2025. Samy passed away after 4 months of illness.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years Susan Bennett Blankenship. He worked at several large Corporations in Winston-Salem the last one Sears at Hanes Mall.

Samy was raised in Winston-Salem and later moved to the Coast to be with family.

He is survived by sister Pat Crater and husband Gray, cousins Richard Tatum and wife Sheila of Winston-Salem, son Steven and Cousin Vicki Scott and family of Charlotte.

Burial will be at Alamance Memorial Park Burlington, NC beside his love of his life Susan his wife. Memorial service will be at a later date.
