JACKSONVILLE - Sherri Layn Lanier, 60, of Jacksonville, died Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville.  No services are planned at this time.

Mrs. Lanier will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Angel Lanier; and one sister, Sue Oneal.

Survivors include one daughter, Jessica Lanier of Jacksonville; three brothers, Joe Waller of Jacksonville, John Waller of Ohio, and Tony Waller of Jacksonville; nephew, Elbert Waller; and three grandchildren, Carson Lanier, Jayden Lanier and Dakota Lanier.
