Jacksonville - Shirley Marie Parks, 68, of Jacksonville, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024 at Kempton of Jacksonville. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held following the service at 2:00 PM at Shirley's V Bar.

Mrs. Parks was born on February 20, 1956 in Verdun, France to the late James Tillman and Bertha Alonso Tillman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Parks. Ms. Parks owned Shirley's V Bar in downtown Jacksonville.

She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Richmond of Southwest Ranches, FL; son, Ryan Lawson of Jacksonville, NC; sister, Linda Tillman; brother, Jim Tillman and three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kyle and Karson.
