Sol Angus Capel, 55 passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington.  Born August 19, 1970 in Charlotte, NC to James and Mae Locklear Capel.  Sol worked as an electrician for many years.  Preceded in death by his father, James Capel.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 2:00 pm from Sneads Ferry Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Kelvin Locklear officiating.  A private burial will be held at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Sneads Ferry.

Survivors include his mother; Mae Locklear Capel of the home, sister; Erica Lardizabal (Rodney Dominguez) of Sanford, his niece; Alana Lardizabal-Brantley (Cory) of Highland Ranch, Colorado, his uncles: James Locklear (Denise) and Ronnie Locklear all of Pembroke, cousins; Kelvin Locklear, Chad Locklear and Ron Sampson, all of Pembroke.
