CAPE CARTERET - Stephen A. McCauley, 58, of Cape Carteret, died Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Carolina East in New Bern. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Emerald Isle Baptist Church.
Stephen was the beloved father of Christopher and Samuel. His wife, Anna and he were very proud of the men they had grown in to. Stephen was known as a man who was strong in his devotion to his family, hardworking, dependable and had a great sense of humor. His faith was unwavering. To those that knew Mac they knew that he was proud of his Scottish heritage and passed on that passion to his sons. Stephen will be missed, even though he isn't here physically his strength of character will always surround those that he loved.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Anna or the home; his two sons, Christopher and Samuel; his mother-in-law, Mary-Anna; his sister-in-law, Frances; his brother-in-law, Anthony Owen and his wife, Candace; his sister, Sharon; brothers, Lynn and Keith; and nieces, Christy and Tara.
