HUBERT  -  Steven Ray "Steve" Britton, 61, of Hubert, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024 at Crystal Coast Hospice House. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 4, 2024 at Jones Funeral Home, Swansboro Chapel with Rev. Deacon Jerry Fatica officiating.

He was born November 22,1962 in Marion, KS to the late Raymond and Donna Haas Britton.

Mr. Britton faithfully served his country in the US Navy for 21 years. He loved to spend time with his wife, family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Florinda T. Britton of the home; children, May Capacia (Joevel Masangkay) of Philippines, John Capacia (Eleanor Masangkay) of Philippines, Julius Capacia (Jasmine Leach) of Hubert, and April Breton (David Breton) of Connecticut; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and sisters, Sheryl Cannon of New Mexico and Martha Vera of Kansas.

The family will receive friends Monday afternoon, prior to the service, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
