Jacksonville, NC- Teresa Ann Flores, 61, died Saturday, September 21, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Ms. Flores was a nurse, serving the community for over 40 years and has been a friend to many during that time. In the time she served the community, she was steadfast in raising her two children. While not working, Teresa enjoyed watching her grandchildren participate in sports and other various activities. Teresa enjoyed such hobbies as doing arts and crafts, sewing, crocheting, and attending various festivals in the Eastern North Carolina region. As an avid animal lover, Teresa had a profound love for all animals especially her two cats who she referred to as "her boys" (Niles & Greyson). Although she is physically gone, she will be remembered by many patients, co-workers, friends, and family members.

Teresa is preceded in death by her beloved father and mother William & Stephanie Thompson.

Teresa is survived by her daughter Allison Brooks (38) and her husband, Kendrick Brooks (36) with their two daughters and two sons and great grandchild of Jacksonville, NC; daughter, Jennifer Krajacic (35) and her husband, Richard Krajacic (42) with their 2 children of Hubert, NC, sister, Stephanie Silance (67) and her husband, Alton Silance (68) and their two children and three grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 1:00pm with services residing at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel with Rev. Maurice Irvin officiating. Burial will follow at Onslow Memorial Park.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to all those who have helped make this an easier transitional period for Teresa and her family.
