Thomas Nixon Davis, 29, of Jacksonville North Carolina, went to be with his Papa and Jesus on Sunday September 23, 2012 at 11:05pm. Thomas was a father, brother, son, cousin, uncle, grandson and army veteran. He had many friends and family and lived his life to the fullest.
Tom grew up in Orlando, Florida and attended Colonial High School. He joined the military in 2001 and upon discharge, settled with his mother and step father in Jacksonville, NC where he became a father and started a career in restaurant management. Tom had a passion for helping others and was a mentor to children with special needs. In his free time Tom loved to spend time with his two daughters and share with them his passion of music, the guitar and Johnny Cash.
Tom is survived by his father Harry N. Davis, Jr (Pamela Davis) of Orlando, FL, his mother Julienne L. Keoho (Joe Keoho) of Jacksonville, NC, his two daughters Riley (7) and Reagan (5), his grandmothers Diane Lewis of Dunlap, TN, Dolores Thompson (Cecil Thompson) of Orlando, FL, Siblings, Angela Davis, Lyndsay Keoho, Joey Keoho and Joshua Davis, nieces Kaitlyn and Alohananni, nephew Hunter and 3 Aunts, 1 Uncle and 7 cousins.
His family would like to thank the community for the outpouring of love and support during this tragic time. Tom was an organ donor and has already blessed another person with the gift of sight.
Funeral services will be held 8:30am on Friday at Infant of Prague Catholic Church with Rev. Jeffrey Bowker officiating. Burial will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
