JACKSONVILLE  -  Timothy Bates Huffman, 66, of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday,  January 28, 2025.

Mr. Huffman was born June 15,1958 in Jacksonville, NC to the late Ralph and Lena Huffman and was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Huffman.  He retired from the Department of Transportation in Pender County.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Gum Branch Road, Jacksonville with Rev. Damon Williamson officiating.  Burial will be held at Onslow Memorial Park in Jacksonville.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria Huffman of the home; three daughters,  Jennifer Steele (Greg) of Richlands, Faith Anne Huffman Jones (Josh) of Davenport, IA and Jessica Renee Huffman of Jacksonville; four grandchildren, Trevor Jackson of Norfolk, VA, Gerald "Jerry" Jackson of Olmsted Falls, OH, Brett Jones of Davenport, IA and Annaliese Jones of Davenport, IA; two sisters, Lynda Huffman Spain of New Bern and Claudette Parker (John) of Jacksonville.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel.
