January 15, 1974 – July 16, 2025
JACKSONVILLE - Timothy Christian Weaver went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. He passed peacefully surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday July 21, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel with Pastor Ben Wolf of Trinity United Methodist Church in New Bern officiating. Burial will follow at Onslow Memorial Cemetery.
Christian was born January 15, 1974 at Byerly Hospital in Hartsville, SC. Christian graduated from Jacksonville High School and went on to ECU where he received a Bachelor of Music. He taught music and band for 8 years. He was employed by Bob King Auto in Wilmington as a finance manager.
Known as Chris to most of his friends, he was very talented in music and art and loved NASCAR. He loved working outside by building, designing, planting, and adding different structures to his home. He would even have his son Declan help him. He enjoyed his time with his son and cherished every moment with him. His hobby with NASCAR was a surround monitor simulator in his spare room for racing. He was in several and form clubs, See The Air with people all over the country who also liked racing. They would meet at different NASCAR events, camp and enjoy the race. His other passion was Dave Matthews Band. He loved God, Family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Josephine Ward, Aunt Shirley Hall, Uncle Bobby Dunn, and Uncle Kenneth Carter.
He is survived by his Children, son Declan Michael Scott Weaver, Daughters Rachael, Raelynn, and Ryleigh. He is survived by his mother Brenda Jo Williams, stepfather Ricky Lee Williams, and Father Charles Timothy Weaver. He is survived by his sister Tracy Elaine Hickman, brother-in-law Ronald Scott Hickman, niece Haley Hickman, nephews Benjamin Hickman and Henry Hickman, aunt Jane Carter, Great Aunt Marlene Ethel Dunn and numerous cousins and family members.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks for all the prayers and loving words shared during this time. Your support for the past year and now has been a great comfort and is deeply appreciated.
The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, Christian would like donations made to the Cancer Society or The Wounded Warriors
