Cary- Thomas “Tom” Ray Campbell, 83, passed away at his home on October 20, 2026. He was born on March 19, 1943, in Fayette County, PA, a son of the late Ray and Mary Elizabeth Allamon Campbell.

A private family graveside will be held at a later date.

Tom was a salesman of truck parts and loved music, and the state of North Carolina from the mountains to the coast.

He’s survived by his wife, Jo Ann Ross Campbell; son, Eric Campbell; grandchild, Brittany Bracewell (Jonathan White), great-grandchildren, Payton Nicole White and August Cade White; and brother, Lance Campbell (Pat).

He was preceded in death by his three sisters, Dorothy Rhodes, Van Bradley, and Carolyn Campbell; daughter, Michelle Campbell Bracewell; and his best friend and brother-in-law, Ronnie Ross.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
