JACKSONVILLE  -  Tommy McDaniel, 80, of Jacksonville, passed away on March 5, 2025 at Onslow Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Burial will immediately follow at Morton Family Cemetery.

Mr. McDaniel was born on July 29, 1944 in Onslow County, North Carolina to the late Robert McDaniel and Ivey Morton McDaniel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby McDaniel.

He is survived by his sisters, Ann Spence (Milton) and Jane Croom (Phil); nephew, Phillip Croom (Meredith); great-nephew, Nathaniel Jace Croom and several extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
