JACKSONVILLE  -  Tracey Taylor passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 14th.  She is the daughter of Glenda White and the late Donnie White. In addition to her mother, Tracey is survived by her husband, Thomas Taylor, son, Tommy and daughter, Tinley, as well as her brother, Kevin White (Mikki) and two nephews, Scottie and Chad White.  She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Vicky Taylor, and brother-in-law, David Taylor.  She is predeceased by her Daddy, Donnie White and her father-in-law, Rodney Taylor.

Tracey is a 2006 graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in Elementary Education. She has taught at Northwoods Elementary, Hunters Creek Elementary, Carolina Forest, and most recently at Morton Elementary. Tracey had a deep love for her students and fellow educators throughout her 18 years of teaching in Onslow County. Tracey had an extreme passion for living life to its fullest, counting her blessings, and loving her Savior, Jesus.  She was happiest with her family and making others smile. Her fun-loving spirit and care for others has influenced a countless number of people in her path.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Youth Program at Kellum Baptist Church where she was a member. The Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, December 19th at Kellum Baptist Church, 1175 Kellum Loop Road, Jacksonville, NC 28546.  Burial will follow at the family cemetery at 116 Spring Hill Road, Maysville, NC 28555. The family will receive friends and family and share a meal back at Kellum Baptist Church Fellowship Hall following the burial.
