Hubert- Trudy Marie Sauls Cook, 62, passed away Tuesday, May 27,2025 at Carolina East Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born June 11,1962 in Kinston, NC, a daughter of the late Jessie and Margie Taylor Sauls.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 7,2025 at 2:00pm at the Catalyst Church in Jacksonville, NC with Rev. Michael Cook officiating. The family will receive friends one hour to the service at the church.

Trudy was a bus driver for Onslow County Schools and loved all her kids. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Ken Cook of the home; children, Amie Clark of Hubert, Joseph Daughety of Hubert, Angelo Caputo of Columbus, OH, and Sam Cape of Hubert; grandchildren, Dalton Brinkley, Kyndle Clark, Dylan Clark, Madison Daughety, Bella Cape , and Charlotte Cape; and brother, Edward Earl Sauls of Hubert.

She was preceded in death by her brother, David Sauls.
