Hubert- Victor Alfonso Peralta, 32, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023 at Novant Health in Wilmington with his family by his side.  He was born October 23, 1990 in Hollister, California.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11:00am at Jones Funeral Home-Swansboro (business casual attire please). The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Victor served his country in the United States Marine Corps and retired at the rank of Staff Sergeant. Victor was a man's man. He wasn't just the life of the party, he was the party. He was a loving husband and caring father. He'd give you the shirt off his back and the beer in his fridge. He truly enjoyed the simple things life had to offer like spending time with his family and friends, and spoiling his dogs. A brother too many! He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. After his military service he was a contractor aboard Camp Lejeune. He loved to spend time in the woods hunting and living his life to the fullest.

He is survived by his wife, Erica Peralta of the home; sons, Jayden Peralta of NJ and Braxton Wood of the home; mother, Socorro Zapien of Los Banos, CA; and siblings, Uriel Peralta, Susie Reynoso, and Stephanie Herrera all of Los Banos, CA.
