Jacksonville- Victoria “Vickie” Rose Hancock Huffman, 67 of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. She was born on July 31, 1959, in Onslow County, NC, a daughter to the late Victor Hancock, Sr. and Peggy Mozingo Hancock.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 1:30 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Pastor Damon Williamson officiating. Entombment will follow at Onslow Memorial Park.

Vickie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her three daughters: Jennifer Huffman Steele (Greg) of Richlands, Faith Anne Huffman Jones (Josh) of Davenport, IA, and Jessica Renee Huffman of Jacksonville, grandchildren: Trevor Jackson of Norfolk, VA, Gerald "Jerry" Jackson of Camp Lejeune, NC, Brett Jones of Davenport, IA, and Annaliese Jones of Davenport, IA; three brothers, Frank (Loretta) Hancock of Richlands, Walter Hancock of Richlands, and Ronald (Lisa) Hancock of Leland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy B. Huffman, her parents and brothers, Victor Allen Hancock, Jr.,and Donald Hancock.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 6-8 PM at Jones Funeral Home-Jacksonville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
