Virgil Ray Whaley, 70 of Richlands passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Carolina Rivers Nursing Home.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at11:00AM at Onslow Memorial Park, with Chaplain Carrie Taylor officiating.
Virgil is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lillie Whaley and his brother Raybon Whaley.
He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Cockell of Hubert, and many nieces and nephews.
