JACKSONVILLE, NC – Wade T. "Big Chief" Locklear, 81, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Onslow Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 12:00pm on Saturday at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel with Rev. Philip Shepard officiating. Burial will follow at Onslow Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Locklear of the home; daughter, Teresa Foy and husband, Eddie of Jacksonville; granddaughter, Holly Foy Shepard of Holly Ridge; grandson, Eddie Lee "Buddy" Foy, Jr. of Jacksonville; four great-grandchildren; two step-sons, Vincent Meeks of Jacksonville and Danny Meeks of Richlands and step-daughter, Christy Martin Waters of SC; sister, Juanita Humphrey of Jacksonville; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday prior to the service from 11:00am until 12:00pm.
Friends may call on the family from 1 – 5 PM on Thursday and Friday afternoon at 296 Foy Lockamy Road, Jacksonville.
