Hubert- Wade Edward Westmoreland, 62, passed away at his home on May 26,2025. He was born March 23,1963 in Greenwood, SC.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 19,2025 at 11:00am in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home-Swansboro. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and afterwards the family request that you join them for a picnic luncheon at the Hammocks Beach State Park.

Wade served his country in the US Navy. He was a car salesman and loved to help customers find the perfect vehicle, but his greatest time was spent fishing, watching UNC basketball, and listening to Jimmy Buffett with his friends.

He is survived by his wife, Karen S. Westmoreland of the home; daughter, Kara Lea Westmoreland of NY; mother, Sue Westmoreland of Swansboro; siblings, Charlie Westmoreland (Darlene) of Jacksonville and Cinda Westmoreland of Swansboro; sister-in-law, Shawnna Munna (Jerome) of Holden Beach; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Westmoreland and a brother, Michael Ray Westmoreland.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Swansboro Fire and Rescue Department or to the Bear Creek Fire and Rescue Department.
